Is there a cutting tool that i can buy to make my old arrows shorter becuse my new ones are shorter?

I just found two arrows in the woods that i had lost months ago and the Field Point is rusted to hell and i need to make the Arrow Shaft shorter any way becuse the new ones i use are like 2 inches shorter. Is there any tool that i can buy to make a straight cut then buy inserts for the arrow.

If we are talking Aluminum Arrows, it is to easy to damage the arrow by just a slight bend that you cant detect with your eye.
There is a tool on the market but it’s price would be out of line for most shooters to wont to invest in.

I would advise you take one of your new arrows as a gauge and all you old ones you wont cut down to a archery shot and have them cut it down to match and add an insert to it at the same time.
I’ve done this in the past and they charged $1.50 or $2.00 per finished arrow and that was the price of the insert, glue and labor.

At that price I don’t wont the tool, I will just let them do it for me.
I use the same bow shop for 85 % of all my bow needs and when I take my bow in for a new string and a tune up, I take any old arrows that need trimmed or inserts installed and because of the other work they had done they did not charge for the arrow touch up other then the price of 5 new inserts labor and glue was free because of being a repeat customer.

Find a good archery shop and stick with them and they do this because your shopping while they take care of your equipment.
