Compound Bows
For compound bows, are the cam's interchangable between manufactuer's?
I have a PSE Thunderbolt. My draw weight is #60-70 with a 65% let-off. I wanted to know if I could change out my 65% let-off for a Matthews, Darton, Bear, Etc...with an 80% let-off or will I need to use a PSE?
I meant the cams of the bow, can I interchange them between different brands
As a bow technician, i can assure you that mounting a cam on a bow it's not made for would be a terrible idea. Most bow manufacturers use different cams for every bow model they make. If nothing else, tou would get terrible efficiency and would not be very accurate. You could also shatter bow limbs or arrows due to your cam's draw curve not matching up with your limb's flex. Also, you will void your bow's warranty.
