Dacron Bow

my Bow String is odd?

i recently bought a bow, and its fine in everything except that the bow string i received is strange, not like other strings. its a cartel dacron string, and instead of having the loops at the end it has these leather things.
and it is NOT a Bow Stringer.
i dont know what to do, i know how to string a bow but not with whatever this is.

I have a hard time believing it is not a bow stringer. In a lifetime of bow shooting I have never seen a string with leather on the ends of it that was not a bow stringer.

There is no reason in the world for a string to have leather on the ends of it except to use it as a bow stringer.
