What do I need to side mount a Red Dot Sight on my ar 15?
I have a dpms ar 15 with a flat top that i've mounted a scope on. It has a regular foregrip without any rails. I was wondering what i would need to get in order to mount a red dot sight on the side.

They make a small rail that mounts on your front sight post at cheaperthandirt.com. If I were you I would go with the rail grips from cheaper than dirt. The item number is ARR-138, it is a quad rail that is super easy to install and you don't need any tools or experience.These are the cheapest price around and are very good quality. I own some and they are every bit as good as any I had in the army. I hope this helps.
