Now for getting a license for hunting you will need to show that you have got the license earlier before. If you are a beginner then you will need to take a course for hunter education. Also, if you want to do bow hunting then you will need to take another course in bow hunting.
The main season when Turkey hunting is done is either spring or fall. Areas where Turkey hunting is done are usually in the bottom lands, wooded areas and are away from the human habitat. The reason is simple because you need to have silence and stillness while hunting for the Turkey. The equipment that You Can use while doing Turkey hunting is bow or shotgun. You cannot use the rifles or handguns for Turkey hunting. The other requirements are that you cannot use bait for hunting and dogs are only allowed during the fall season.

How long can i leave my crossbow cocked?
i am going Deer Hunting this fall and there is a high population of coons in the area, it is 120 lb draw weight, i need a crossbow so i dont spook the deer. how long could i leave it cocked?
as soon as you get in your stand or situated where you are going to be hunting from.
