Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest?
I purchased a new bow last week, and it is a Reflex bow (a division of Hoyt). But anyway, it came with the Whisker Biscuit, and maybe it is just me, but it seems like the ''whiskers" are wearing away at a fast pace. I notice that the black whiskers are becoming shorter in one section. Also, are the whiskers supposed to get a little ''messed up" after each shot.
P.S. I just wanted to say that I DO have the arrow positioned correctly in the rest, therefore, the fletchings hit the rest in the correct positions.
They make a couple kinds - one for Aluminum Arrows and one for carbons.
When I bought my Bowtech, it came with the Carbon Arrow version but the guy at the archery shop swapped it for me.
If you are shooting aluminum arrows through the narrower biscuit, it makes sense why the black is getting shorter. As to the biscuit getting "messed up", it is normal.
